«At the end of 1934 SS officer Leopold Mildenstein and German Zionist Federation representative, Kurt Tulkher made a 6 months trip together into Palestine for studying «capabilities of zionist development. Upon returning from the trip, Mildenstein wrote 12 articles under the name «Nazi is traveling across Palestine» for Goebbels newspaper «Angriff». He expressed his admiration for «pioneer spirit and archievements of jewish settlers». According to his belief, «the zionist movement is good for jewish people and the rest of the world, therefore it should be supported as much as possible». Apparently, in order to perpetuate the memory of the joint visit of the Nazis and the Zionist, «Angriff» released a medal, one side of which displayed the nazi emblem and the other side showed the 6-pointed Star of David (History today, London, N1 1980)«
